Flower series 2
2024

Building on Flower series 1, with the same fascination of flowers and their position in our culture.

SADA
2024

SADA is a research into the plasticity of time and flexibility of space. The project is based around the temporal sculptures that utilize the cross-cultural symbolism and body of candles, in order to activate their surrounding, visualize human perception of time, and, through their ephemerality, question its relentless flow. The aim is to interrelate the subjective and objective within the sculpture, while allowing the audience to have a moment of respite, a moment to just breathe.

Flower series 1

Flowers as a phenomena have become influential in my thinking. Their position in our culture, of simply being, and that being enough, is a fascinating position.

Bram Petraeus
2024

A visual identity and website design for Bram, a Dutch photographer based in Amsterdam.
The identity is outspoken, yet elegant, inspired by the crisp, crystal-clean focus recognizable in his work. Calm, yet inviting a second, more attentive look, much like his work.

Warm Bad

A selection of posters for a series of improv dance and music events in Amsterdam

Archive of Adorning Entities
2022

Art direction and editorial design for the Archive of Adorning Entities by Maureen Kortenbusch.

The book showcases each of the adornments through the eyes of a naturalist. Each piece is presented in the same set of sheets: a title page, page outlining the narrative of the piece, a page documenting their growth cycle, and finally one or two on details  pertaining to each adornment.

Paintings inspired by life by the sea, floating, balance.

De Vijg
2022

A self initiated series of cultural events, bringing time concepts into a dialogue with timely commentary of our daily lives. First edition, Old Future, had us jumping through time, with machines come from the deep future, attempting to communicate via ancient scrolls.

Collaboration with  Noah Boardman (logistics and production) and Lewis Knight (machine installations). Big thanks to Lee Ellickson of The Warp for their generosity and faith.
