2022
Art direction and editorial design for the Archive of Adorning Entities, graduation work of Maureen Kortenbusch.
The book showcases each of the adornments through the eyes of a naturalist. Each piece is presented in the same set of sheets: a title page, page outlining the narrative of the piece, a page documenting their growth cycle, and finally one or two on details pertaining to each adornment.
Maureen’s work as an artist and jewellery maker is profoundly inspired by the notions of animism, and the book showcases her pieces as living beings being catalogued in an ongoing archive.
