SADA SPACE (from sada, meaning “now” in Croatian) is an initiative that explores the impermanent, experiential nature of time—through sculptural candles that live between art, craft and ritual. The pieces turn function into form, and form into presence: each one is a temporal sculpture, designed not only to burn but to shift, respond, and evolve in space. 

The identity emerged from the same thinking. What is the space that a lit candle activates? Beyond light, it brings an atmosphere—a silent aura that invites focus. That became the starting point: to build a brand around the idea of presence. A bold, centred sans serif reflects the idea while opening up space in its middle—echoing the way a flame draws the eye, stills the room, creates pause.

The visual language balances contrasts: weight and lightness, precision and softness. A heavy, grounded typeface forms 
the foundation, but it’s offset with hand-drawn doodles—loose, intuitive marks that break the tension and restore human touch. These drawings counterbalance the structural seriousness of the logotype, creating an identity that feels both intentional and alive. SADA SPACE works primarily in monochrome, making photography central to the system. The identity never overpowers; instead, it clears a path for attention. The website and materials are guided by this same principle of restraint. Layouts are minimal but not cold—centred grids, text that breathes, and interfaces that feel more like quiet gestures than calls to action. The goal is to hold space, not fill it. The result is an identity that doesn’t explain everything, but makes room for experience, time, and attention to do their work.
